A Belgian style beer, this is accurately described on the back of their can, “Golden with a lacy white head. The beer features fruity esters, rich malt character, and a hint of spice.” The after taste carries the spice through the “rich malt character” and light “fruity esters” are prevalent during the sip. I think it
would pair nicely with a light salad on a warm spring/ summer day on the veranda over looking a nice mountain valley. I chilled it to approximately 3 ° C, and it seemed to taste great. Looking at their website, there is no mention of this beer. Perhaps it falls under their seasonal selection where “prices and selection vary”.
The tall can was bought at the Beer Store on Paris Street in Sudbury. It says 473 mL; 6.9 % acl./vol; Strong Beer.
